Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO only)

I directly bill BCBS on your behalf, though you are responsible to know and verify your benefits/eligibility before we meet. 

I am happy to offer courtesy billing for Aetna and Cigna too, where you pay the session fee in full, but I submit a claim for insurance to reimburse you. 

By choosing to use in- or out-of-network insurance, you release aspects of confidentiality as they have the right to request documentation to verify medical necessity to authorize payment.

I accept all major credit cards (including HSA or FSA cards), as well as cash or checks as needed.

I provide monthly itemized receipts (or "superbills") for clients to submit for out-of-network reimbursement (there is often a higher out-of-network deductible to meet before insurance begins reimbursing).

This policy applies to private-pay, as well as insurance, clients. Insurance does not reimburse for late cancelled or missed appointments, therefore late-cancelled appointments will be assessed a $50 fee and no-shows will be assessed a $75 fee. To avoid this, kindly give 24-hours notice of the need to cancel, or if an unforseeable emergency has arisen within those 24 hours, please contact me to discuss.
